The two island countries, Cabo Verde and São Tomé e Príncipe, have sought to strengthen ties of "brotherhood" and deepen partnership relations in a number of areas in recent years, especially in the field of digital technology.

On August 10, we welcomed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Cooperation and Communities of the Republic of Sao Tome e Principe, Mrs. Edite Ramos da Costa Tem Jua, and her entourage, currently on an official visit to Cabo Verde.

Mrs. Edite Ramos was welcomed by the Secretary of State for Digital Economy, Pedro Lopes, representing the Ministry, and by NOSi's Executive Directors, Mayra Silva and Lumumba Barbosa at the Data Center facilities in the city of Praia.
