Considerable gains have been achieved over the years, particularly in the integration and development of e-Gov solutions, resulting in a positive impact on the quality and speed of the provision of public services to citizens and companies.

Now, it is challenging to accelerate the redesign of processes, products, and services in this new Era of Industry 4.0, so the country can become a truly digital and competitive nation on a global scale, as desired by all its citizens.

Cabo Verde Digital Governance Strategy

Aiming to promote and develop the Digital Economy (ED), Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in Cabo Verde, five focus areas are identified in order for the country to have a diversified economy, focused on ICTs and in conformity to those of reference countries in the sector.

NOSi is the public entity in Cabo Verde responsible for promoting digital governance as well as setting up suitable models and systems to achieve this.

Ensures safety and security of the adopted electronic governance systems, namely;
Securing and protecting the State's data;
Managing the State's Private Technological Network (RTPE) infrastructures in compliance with the established security policies, standards and rules;
Ensuring performance of the IT security policies established for the management of the RTPE.

As such, here is a set of specific guidelines and best practices in terms of security and compliance, for different business areas.
