Laying the foundations for cooperation in the digital field with Cabo Verde prompted the visit of the Chargé d'Affaires of the Russian Embassy in Cabo Verde, Timur Sabrekov, on the morning of Tuesday, August 30.

Sr. Timur Sabrekov, considers Cabo Verde as a Digital reference in Africa, emphasizing, how visible is the country’s evolution regarding the Security and Digital Transition in  Africat.  "What caught my attention most was the agility in publishing the results of the elections, showing great transparency throughout the process," he adds.

Received by the Secretary of State for the Digital Economy, Pedro Lopes, representing the Ministry, by the CEO of NOSi, Carlos Tavares Pina, and by both Executive Directors, Mayra Silva and Lumumba Barbosa, and team, he was given the opportunity to see the Data Center facilities and share Russia's interest in future partnerships in the digital area.
