On Friday, 13 March, NOSi received a courtesy visit from Ms Ayumi Moore Aoki, President of the Tech Diplomacy Global Institute (TDGI) and Women in Tech Global, as part of her visit to Cape Verde to formalise a strategic partnership with the Government of Cape Verde in the field of technology diplomacy.

She was received by the NOSi Board of Directors, led by the Chairman, Carlos Tavares Pina, assisted by the Executive Director, Mayra Silva, and their respective teams. The main objectives of the meeting were to present the vision and global positioning of Women in Tech Global and the Tech Diplomacy Global Institute, as well as to explore opportunities for strategic cooperation between NOSi and Women in Tech Global.

The identified areas of cooperation include, in particular, training and the development of digital skills, the promotion of inclusion, and the strengthening of women’s leadership in the technology sector. Possible synergies, capable of contributing to the revitalisation of the national digital ecosystem and the strengthening of Cape Verde’s institutional and technological capacities, were also explored.
