On Monday, June 9, NOSi welcomed to its facilities the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Portugal, Dr. Ana Xavier, accompanied by the Ambassador of Portugal to Cape Verde, Dr. João Queirós, the Delegate of AICEP Portugal in Cape Verde, Dr. João Nogueira, and the Secretary of State for the Digital Economy, Dr. Pedro Lopes.

They were received by Executive Administrators Mayra Silva and Lumumba Barbosa, and had the opportunity to visit NOSi’s facilities and observe firsthand the functioning of its technological infrastructure, as well as learn about the organization’s journey and initiatives in the country’s digital transformation process.

After acknowledging the country’s significant progress in this field, Ana Xavier expressed her willingness to work toward strengthening the strategic partnership between Portugal and Cape Verde.
