From 7 to 9 October, NOSi hosted a delegation from South Africa’s Technology Innovation Agency (TIA) and the Innovation Agencies Network in Africa (IAA), as part of the Peer-to-Peer Learning Exchange Programme.
This exchange forms part of the cooperation efforts of the IAA Network, of which NOSi is a member, aimed at strengthening the African innovation ecosystem through knowledge sharing, technical capacity building and the promotion of best practice in areas strategic to the continent’s digital transformation.
During the visit, the NOSi teams shared Cape Verde’s experience in modernising public administration, presenting projects and solutions in the areas of interoperability, data management and analysis, business intelligence, artificial intelligence, IT solution development and management, cybersecurity and cloud computing.
The programme also included visits to the Institute for the Modernisation and Innovation of Justice (IMIJ), the Citizen’s Centre, the University of Cape Verde (Uni-CV) and the Digital Services Team, enabling the delegation to gain first-hand insight into the Cape Verdean model of digital transformation, as well as initiatives related to research, innovation and the provision of digital public services.
Through this initiative, NOSi reinforces its commitment to innovation, African cooperation and knowledge-sharing, contributing to the development of a more digital, connected Africa that is prepared for the challenges of the future.
