The Basic Education School in Cancelo, located in the interior of Santiago, now boasts a computer lab with 20 computers, generously donated by IZERTIS, and is seamlessly connected to efficient and secure internet, courtesy of NOSi. It's worth noting that this connectivity covers all areas within the school.
The official opening of the computer lab took place this Wednesday, September 20, with the presence and speeches of Carlos Alberto Silva, the Mayor of Santa Cruz Municipal, Adriano Moreno, the National Director of Education, Carlos Tavares Pina, CEO of NOSi, Ivon Vitor Ramalho, CEO of IZERTIS Portugal, and Paulino Oliveira, the Education Delegate in Santa Cruz. Also in attendance were Carlos Anjos, the IZERTIS Cabo Verde representative, Lumumba Barbosa, Executive Director of NOSi, and the NOSi team.
It's worth remembering that in 2019, NOSi and the Spanish multinational IZERTIS signed a memorandum of understanding to explore opportunities for cooperation in various fields.
