NOSi received on the morning of Monday, July 4, the visit of the World Bank’s Director of Operations, Axel Van Trotsenburg and entourage, in the WebLab laboratory of the Liceu Abílio Duarte, in Palmarejo.

He was received by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Business Development and Minister of Digital Economy, Olavo Correia, by the CEO of NOSi, Carlos Pina and its Executive Directors, Mayra Silva and Lumumba Barbosa, by the WebLab Project Coordinator, Luísa Chantre and the School Director, Ângela Varela and team.

The occasion was an opportunity for Mr. Van Trotsenburg to acquaint himself with the excellent dynamics of these 43 WebLab laboratories, scattered in 22 municipalities throughout the country, having a direct impact on the school, social, and digital inclusion of thousands of children, teenagers, and young people.
