Yesterday, we found ourselves in a global context marked by the intensification of digital threats and the growing complexity of challenges surrounding cybersecurity and sovereignty. To foster reflection and knowledge sharing on this subject, an international conference organized by VisionWare on “Geopolitics and Cyberspace” took place last Thursday, December 5, in Lisbon.
As a speaker, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NOSi, Eng. Carlos Tavares Pina, participated in one of the panels discussing “Geopolitics and Cyberspace – Protecting States, Companies, and Individuals,” where he specifically addressed the case of Cape Verde, among other topics.
The event featured prominent figures from the sector who explored the main threats in cyberspace and discussed the best strategies for mitigating imminent risks. NOSi was also represented by Dr. Ivandro Ortet, Advisor for Cybersecurity, Resilience, and Innovation, and Dr. José Mendes, Technician at the Audit and Management Control Office.
