On October 17, NOSi participated in the 5th Annual Conference of the Professional Order of Certified Auditors and Accountants (OPACC), held in the city of Praia, under the theme “Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, and Trust: The New Paradigm of Accounting and Auditing.”
NOSi’s participation focused on two topics of particular relevance in the current context of digital transformation. Érica Lima, Head of the Audit and Management Control Office, addressed the topic “Automation of Accounting Processes and AI-Assisted Auditing,” presenting practical case studies and highlighting the role of new technologies in the evolution of accounting and auditing processes.
In turn, Aldino Ramos, Project Manager in the Business Intelligence & Streaming Analytics area, presented on the topic “Risks and Limitations of Artificial Intelligence,” bringing to the discussion the challenges associated with the growing adoption of this technology. Also participating in the conference were Liliana Lima, Head of the Finance, Accounting, and Assets Division at NOSi, and Thairine Miranda, a specialist in that area.
The conference brought together accounting and auditing professionals, business leaders, representatives of the public administration, academics, regulators, and strategic partners in a forum for reflection and knowledge sharing on the challenges and opportunities arising from digital transformation and the growing use of Artificial Intelligence.
NOSi’s participation in this conference reinforces its position as a strategic partner in Cape Verde’s digital transformation, contributing to the discussion on the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence, technological innovation, and the development of solutions capable of generating greater efficiency, trust, and value for organizations and society.
