Following the various interactions between the two institutions, NOSi and the Angolan Public Finance Information and Communication Technologies Service (SETIC FP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Tuesday, 3 March, in Praia.

The document was signed by NOSi’s Executive Administrator, Mayra Silva, and SETIC FP’s Director General, Edilson Coelho, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of Angola accredited to Cape Verde, Agostinho Tavares da Silva Neto, as well as the technical teams from both organizations.

The Memorandum establishes strategic areas of cooperation, with a particular focus on cybersecurity, data centre management, auditing and internal control, as well as customer service.

According to SETIC FP’s Director General, Edilson Coelho, NOSi was selected as one of the key partners to drive the digital transformation of Angola’s public finances, given the institution’s recognized expertise in this field. He also highlighted that this signing represents an important milestone, formalizing a relationship that has been developing since 2023.

For her part, NOSi’s Executive Administrator, Mayra Silva, expressed confidence that this collaboration will be fruitful, consistent, and long-lasting, bringing tangible benefits to both institutions and strengthening technological cooperation between Cape Verde and Angola.
