While presiding over the closing ceremony of the eGov International Summit - a Digital Governance International Conference organized by NOSi as part of its 25th-anniversary celebration, Vice-Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and Business Development, and Minister of Digital Economy, Olavo Correia, underscored the significance of cybersecurity. He emphasized the necessity to invest in the legal framework, technologies, technological infrastructure, and human resources for Cabo Verde to truly become a secure digital nation.

In his address, he also made reference to the 25 years of NOSi. 'On behalf of the Government and all Cape Verdeans, I congratulate everyone who is part of this great Cape Verdean brand, representing the past, present, and future of Cabo Verde.'
