The newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Special Economic Zone for Technologies (ZEET), economist João Santos, paid a courtesy visit to NOSi on Friday, 27 February, recognizing the central role the institution plays in the country’s digital transformation process.

He was welcomed by NOSi’s Chairman of the Board of Directors, Carlos Tavares Pina, accompanied by Executive Administrators Mayra Silva and Lumumba Barbosa, as well as members of the technical team. During the meeting, opportunities and the importance of establishing and strengthening synergies between the two entities were discussed, with a view to accelerating digital transformation initiatives with social and economic impact for the country.

ZEET, as a public enterprise with administrative and financial autonomy, is one of the key instruments for implementing Cape Verde’s Digital Strategy and plays a strategic role in the development of the national technology ecosystem.
