Cabo Verde at the final stage of the African Code Challenge

Cabo Verde is among the 20 African countries selected for the final round of the African Code Challenge 2021, the largest pan-African coding competition in which young people, aged 8 to 16, develop games using the Scratch programming language to show how they would change the world with their superpowers.

Over 100 video projects from 40 countries were evaluated for the final phase. Among the teams, our country participated with 3 teams composed of 5 young people each, winners of the WebLab inter-laboratory competition for Scratch programming, held between July and August 2021. From the three projects presented by Cabo Verde, one is at the final stage.
