The 1st edition of the "Social Innovation Award" is a contest promoted by NOSi, in partnership with the SmartCity Foundation, as part of the celebration of its 25th anniversary.

The establishment of this award aims to encourage the generation and presentation of creative and innovative ideas capable of providing solutions to the issues affecting our society.

The "NOSi Social Innovation Award" is open to:

• Individual citizens;
• Startups;
• Micro and Small businesses;
• NGOs, Academies, and schools.

For this edition of the "NOSi Social Innovation Award", competitors must present innovative ideas for the following areas:

• Environment;
• Agriculture and Fishing;
• Public Security.

Participants can compete in the following categories:

1. Individual Initiative Award;
2. NGOs, Academies, and Schools Award;
3. Small and Microenterprises, Startups Award.
