Financial Administration Reform

The Administrative and Financial State Reform Coordination Unit (UC-RAFE) emerged as a response to the demands for Modernization and Efficiency in the management of the country's public resources.

Through RAFE, the Government of Cabo Verde aimed to enhance transparency, accountability, and efficiency in the State's financial processes. Despite the challenges, this transformation led to significant gains for the country's financial administration. The modernization of systems, the training of public officials, and the implementation of best financial practices became major milestones in this phase

NOSi

Operational Nucleus of the Information Society

RAFE paved the way for the creation of NOSi, a pioneering institution that emerged as the epicenter of the technological revolution in Cabo Verde. NOSi, in turn, became a beacon of innovation and technological excellence, dedicated to driving the development of the information society in the country.

With NOSi, Cabo Verde gained a central institution for coordinating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) projects and implementing digital transformation policies in various areas, from public services to ICT infrastructure.
